Dr. Goss’ journey into Chiropractic began in his hometown of Sioux City, IA. His mother decided that rehabilitative treatment was the best course of care. He received his first Chiropractic treatment at the hands of his best friend’s father.

Chiropractic Care at our Omaha NE chiropractic clinic can diagnose and treat problems that affect the nerves, muscles, bones and joints of your body. At a basic level a chiropractor will restore or improve the biomechanics of your spine (spinal movement/ motion) with gentle adjustments. This treatment can provide relief and correct common painful conditions such as; neck pain, back pain, headaches, whiplash (auto accident injuries) sciatica, carpal tunnel, and problems of the hips, knees, ankles, shoulders, elbows and wrists.  But at a deeper level, due to the proximity of the nervous system, there is much more going on. That is why often times people experience health benefits beyond the improvements to the musculoskeletal system (bones, joints and muscles).

Dr. Goss’ commitment to knowledge and growth allows him to stay on top of the emerging research that is constantly available. This commitment along with the goal of creating Omaha NE’s most patient centric health care facility creates a world-class Chiropractic experience at the Omaha Wellness Center. Common Misconceptions

Over the years, Dr. Goss has answered many common questions about Omaha NE Chiropractic care. The most common misconceptions revolve around questions regarding the evidence of safety, effectiveness and costs and about the time necessary for care. Rest assured, repeatedly research performed by world-renowned, peer-reviewed medical journals demonstrates that chiropractic care is highly effective and incredibly safe.  Due to the minimally invasive and conservative nature of care, studies inside AND outside of chiropractic support its safety.  The costs associated with treatment is another very common misconception but the documented studies performed by the same journals and health insurance companies alike highlight the savings associated with chiropractic treatment. When Chiropractic care is utilized, nearly every metric associated with cost is improved.  Last but not least, the most common misconceptions of them all…”Once you go, you always have to go!”  This is certainly not the case at the Omaha Wellness Center. Every new patient will receive a thorough history, evaluation, examination, X-rays and assessment. At that time, your goals will be discussed and based on your findings, recommendations will be made for your Initial Treatment Plan (including a start and end date.)  At the conclusion of your Initial Treatment Plan, assuming your healthcare goals have been achieved, you will be released from Active Care. At this time, what happens next is up to you. We can discuss the benefits of regular chiropractic care but if you choose to be released from care at this time, you decision will be supported 100%.

The Education of an Omaha NE Chiropractor

Most patients don’t realize how much schooling chiropractors have to go through before they can start practicing?
